North Philly Shooter Caught On Victim's Dash Cam: Police (Updated)

Police detectives in Philadelphia are looking for two suspects who shot at a driver on Friday night, April 12.

Authorities said the pair stopped in front of the victim at a red light at Old York Road and Cheltenham Avenue around 9:40 p.m. Dashboard camera footage shows the passenger open fire at the victim before fleeing in a black Nissan Murano. 

Officials said the victim was struck once in the chest and hospitalized in critical condition. 

The suspect vehicle was last seen fleeing north on Old York Road into Cheltenham Township, police said. 

  • Suspect one is described as a Black male wearing a black balaclava mask, a black zip-up jacket over a white shirt, and black or gray pants with a black belt.
  • Suspect two is described as a Black male with a heavy build and a full beard wearing a black skull cap, large glasses with black frames, a black hooded jacket with a Nike logo on the left chest, gray sweatpants, and black and white sneakers.
